This project is a welding project for SANY Heavy Industry robots. The client needs a complete set of small lifting electromagnets to assist the robot in picking up welding materials. In the past, the site relied on manual labor or claw grips to transport large equipment and the necessary components for welding, resulting in low work efficiency and high costs. After discussions between both parties, the company designed and produced an electromagnetic manipulator (later applied for invention: an intelligent digital control system for robot electromagnetic manipulators) to work with SANY's robots for transporting welding materials. This project is for a 30-ton overhead crane. The lifting electromagnet can lift threaded steel (up to 12 meters long, with a maximum bundle diameter of 400mm weighing 2.6 tons, lifting 2-3 bundles) and round wire rod (outer diameter of 1.3 meters, up to 2 meters long, with a single bundle weighing 2.5 tons, lifting 3 bundles). Traditionally, the lifting electromagnets for lifting threaded steel and round wire are different models with different structures. This time, the customer requested that both types be able to lift, so a multi-purpose lifting electromagnet was designed and produced (patent applied for: ZL 2022 2 0895732.1). The customer reported good results on-site.

This project involves installing our company's product on the front lift of a forklift, capable of lifting three 40mm thick steel plates or various types of steel plates and rebar (total weight of 20 tons) at once. Due to the customer's requirements for the lifting capacity of this model of electromagnet, which exceeds the maximum lifting force in the industry, a new electromagnet design was created.
