Magnetic Coupling Cable Reel

Model Description

A non-powered type
In this installation configuration, the power for the cable reel is transmitted from the traveling system of the installed equipment—via a sprocket—into the cable reel’s drive sprocket (or directly into a shaft or a stage of transmission gears), thereby driving the cable reel to operate. This installation method is suitable only when power is supplied at one end of the travel range, and the cable reel can only wind up the cable in one direction.
B: Motivational
This installation-type cable reel is equipped with its own power distribution unit. The control signals for the power system come from the stroke control system of the equipment on which it is installed, enabling the cable reel to operate in synchronization with the equipment’s movement. This installation method is particularly suitable for applications where the power supply is located at the midpoint of the stroke, allowing the cable reel to wind up cables in two different directions (with a reversing mechanism at the midpoint).

JQD series powered magnetic coupling cable reels
The JOD series magnetic-coupling cable reel is a derivative of the OC series magnetic-coupling cable reel. In addition to featuring a magnetic coupler that ensures synchronous operation of the cable reel, this series integrates power transmission, reel mechanism, and a split-type magnetic coupler into one compact unit. It boasts numerous advantages, including a small footprint, light weight, and easy and flexible installation. This reel is not only suitable for horizontal power supply applications but also excels in long-distance, straight-line power supply scenarios. It finds wide application in cable-powered equipment such as electromagnetic chucks, electric grabs, and electric flatcars. (1) A magnetic coupler is employed as the synchronous differential mechanism, ensuring reliable and synchronized cable winding and unwinding performance of the reel.
It is widely applicable and suitable for the synchronized winding and unwinding of power cables for various types of devices.
The vertical retraction and extension stroke is long, with a maximum reach of 150 meters.
Cable-reel electronic control mode: The motor operates when winding the cable and is de-energized when releasing the cable.
